WORKING FOR ALPINE ACTION

Working in Meribel & La Tania, The Three Valleys, France.

Thank you for your interest in working for Alpine Action and we provide quality catered chalet holidays in the French ski resorts of Meribel & La Tania - The Three Valleys, the largest linked ski area in the world.

We have four chalets in La Tania and six in Meribel. Our aim is to provide a friendly, quality and memorable holiday. Our repeat and referral business are a testament to that goal. We are and always will be a  personable company.

All of our staff come to the resorts because they want to ski almost every day for five months, on some of the best slopes in the world. You don't have to be a good skier, but you will need to have skied before and be a sporty and an outdoors sort of person to contemplate a season working and skiing in the Alps. The work is hard, with early starts and late nights, toilets to clean and potatoes to peel, shopping and cooking, talking to guests and answering their questions and never losing your enthusiasm or your smile, even when you've skied until nightfall and danced until dawn! Not only do all our staff enjoy their season, many re-apply to work the next season before they leave. All our positions consist of cooking and/ or cleaning in addition to looking after guests and all those applying must be ready to excel in all of these. Although prevoius experience is not essential, experience in catering or the attendance of a cookery course is required.

When considering younger applicants we take particular note of any experience of cleaning and waitressing and will take up references from previous employers. All applicants must be British passport holders with a valid UK National insurance number.

While working for Alpine Action you are paid a monthly wage into your UK bank account. You will be provided with board and lodging, a staff lift pass, certain items of clothing and the use of skis, boards and boots etc. We transport you to the resort at the beginning of the season and back to the UK at the end of your season contract.

You can download a PDF version of our application form and menu plan from this page, alternatively if you would like one sent by post or e-mail then please contact out office on 01273 597940 or .
